While there was a "herd of cattle" feeling at times, they knew how to move the people.ĭefcon, on the other hand, did not impress me as a very well run show (and as I recall not a very expensive show either). I was able to get into any talk that I wanted. One interesting observation is that while I don’t think there was anything terribly different between RSA and Black Hat as far as subject matter goes, I think Black Hat and RSA are complimentary more than being able to replace one another.īlack Hat also has their slides and some white papers associated with the presentations online.
